Frequently asked questions

How do I join a pool?

Ask the pool commissioner to send you an invite link or email invite. You can also enter a 6-character invite code directly from the Join Pool page.

When do picks lock?

Picks lock at the kickoff of the first game in the weekly slate. If there is a Thursday night game, any pick on that game locks at its kickoff. All other picks remain editable until the main Sunday slate kicks off.

What is a mulligan?

A mulligan lets you replace a losing pick on a Thursday or weekday game. It costs 5 points (paid into the current week's pot) and you choose a new pick from any game that has not yet started. Win the replacement and you can still win the weekly pot at 3-1.

What counts as a push?

A push happens when the final score lands exactly on the spread or total line (only possible with whole-number lines). A push is not a win and not a loss. It does not count toward the 3-0 requirement to win the pot.

How does the weekly pot work?

Every pool member contributes 5 points per week to the pot. If no one goes 3-0, the pot rolls over and next week's contributions are added on top. Mulligans and 0-3 penalties also add to the pot. Go 3-0 and you take it all.

How is settlement calculated?

At season end, the settlement calculator figures out each member's net position (points won minus points contributed). The optimized view shows the minimum number of real-world transactions to square everyone up.

Can I be in more than one pool?

Yes. One account can be a member of any number of pools. Each pool has its own standings, settings, and commissioner.
